Terms

Last updated 23 September 2026

These are the terms for using BarberOne. There are two parts: one if you have a loyalty card at a barbershop, and one if you are a shop owner using BarberOne to run your shop.

BarberOne is run by Launchpad HQ Limited, company no. 16149065, 167-169 Great Portland Street, London, England, W1W 5PF. Questions go to [email protected].

Part one: if you have a loyalty card

The card is free. It costs you nothing to join and nothing to use.

The shop sets the reward. How many stamps you need, and what you get, is the shop's decision, not ours. They can change it. If they do, stamps you have already earned still count.

Stamps are not money. They have no cash value, they cannot be exchanged for cash, and they cannot be moved to another person or another shop.

Rewards can run out. If a reward has an end date, it is shown on your card. Some shops' plans include a text before a reward runs out. We do not promise one every time, so check your card.

One stamp per visit. Stamps are added by the shop when you come in. If a stamp is missing, ask the shop, because only they can add it.

Texting the shop. Your message may be answered by the shop's assistant, or passed to the shop, and the shop answers it. For anything urgent, call the shop.

We run the card, the shop runs the shop. If something goes wrong with your haircut, your booking or your bill, that is between you and the shop. If something goes wrong with the card, email us.

If the shop stops using BarberOne, your card stops working and any stamps on it go with it. We will let you know if we can.

Leaving. Reply PAUSE to any offer to stop the offers. To remove your card entirely, ask the shop or email us. We do it by hand.

Part two: if you are a shop

What you get. A loyalty card your customers add to their phone, a dashboard, a weekly report, and, on a paid plan, the messages described on your plan page. The free plan is free, with no limit on how many customers you have and no trial that runs out. On the free plan, your customers only get the texts they need:

Offers you pay for go too.

Paying. Plans are monthly and are paid by card through Stripe. Prices are shown on your plan page in the dashboard, and include VAT where it applies. You can move up a plan at any time and it starts straight away. You can move down or cancel at any time and it takes effect at the end of the month you have paid for. We do not give partial refunds for part of a month.

If a payment fails, your plan keeps running for 7 days. We text you twice to remind you: 3 days and 1 day before the 7 days end. If it is still unpaid, your shop moves to the free plan. Your card, your customers and your stamps all keep working. We never delete your data because of a missed payment. A shop on its own signed agreement with us follows that agreement instead.

Messages. The £39 plan adds three texts: a reward earned, a new tier, and a Google review request. They are part of the plan price. There is no allowance to use up. The £69 and £149 plans include a monthly allowance of texts, shown on your plan page. If you use it up, you can buy more in the dashboard. Until you do, most texts stop until next month. A few still go: a customer's recovery code, the last-day reward reminder, and texts about an order. Campaigns you pay for still go too. Messages you send are sent in your shop's name and they are your responsibility.

Your assistant. On the £149 plan, your assistant answers simple texts from customers. Anything it is not sure of comes to you, and you answer it. On the £69 plan, customers' texts come to you to answer.

Your customers are yours. We will never contact your customers to sell them anything, will never pass their details to another shop, and will never sell them. If you leave, ask us for your customer list and we will send it. There is no button for this yet; we do it by hand.

What you are responsible for. Making sure the prices, rewards and details you enter are right. Making sure the messages you choose to send are ones you would be happy to receive. Keeping your staff PIN to yourself and your staff. And not loading numbers into BarberOne that were not given to you by the customer in your own shop. Customers join by tapping the card in your shop; there is no way to import a list and there is not meant to be.

The physical card. The card on your counter is yours to keep and costs you nothing. If you need another, ask in the dashboard.

Keeping it running. We will do our best to keep everything working, but we cannot promise it will never be down, and things outside our control, like a phone network or Apple's wallet, can stop working too. If we are ever down for a long stretch of a month you have paid for, tell us and we will sort it out fairly.

Liability. If we get something badly wrong, what we owe you is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before. We are not liable for lost profit or lost business. Nothing here limits anything that cannot legally be limited.

Ending it. You can cancel your plan whenever you like, from the dashboard. We can end an account if it is being used to send messages to people who never asked for them, or to break the law. If either of us ends it, you can ask for your customer list for thirty days afterwards. To have your shop's data deleted, email us and we will do it by hand.

Changes. If we change these terms in a way that matters to you, we will tell you before it takes effect.

The law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales deal with any dispute.
